It can be difficult to find a good foundation dupe, especially when your favoured formula is a luxury one. It is possible though, even if you have to make some compromises in the process. And with a potential saving of €24, it's worth a try, right?
One of our favourites foundations is the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Stick. It has a velvety texture that glides across skin to leave it looking naturally luminous and dewy. As it's designed for high definition camera work, it has an almost invisible finish and doesn't settle in pores or fine lines (always a relief). On the flip side though, it's easy to build when you need or want more coverage.
At €39 a pop though, it's a foundation that falls into the investment category. So knowing its foundation dupe is always going to come in handy - and we reckon we've found one in the NYX Mineral Stick Foundation (€15). From the packaging to the formula, there are a lot of similarities here. Oh, except the whopping price difference.

But, there is a slight snag...
The Make UP Forever Ultra HD Foundation stick comes in an impressive 20 shades. Whereas the NYX comes in 15 options. It's still a respectable amount, but not identical. However, with a saving of €24, I think we can forgive them.
