If you are familiar with blogger Lisa Jordan you will know she loves all things pink and girly. Her new collection of LUNA lipglosses is just that. Very pink and very girlie.
The LUNA lipglosses were seen for the first time yesterday at the Beauty Tradeshow in the RDS. Lisa had the most gorgeous stand: pink marble effect with a plush pink velvet couch and footstool. Lisa herself was dressed like a doll in a dusky pink showstopper dress.
The LUNA stand was the prettiest stop at the show and it looked like every girl's dream. I mean, who wouldn't want their very own dressing room just like this one? Now, I am a big fan of lipglosses. I have never been fully convinced of the whole matte lip trend, so I was particularly excited to see this range. Lipgloss will always be my favourite texture on a lip. It gives you fuller, healthier, shinier looking lips in a way that no other finish can.

The LUNA glosses come in a pack with four different shades. There are two pink lipglosses, Pink Ruby and Sapphire. Amber is a warm caramel colour and there's a peachy nude called Peach Opal. They are mixable and easy to layer. Lisa designed them to be worn both alone but also to be mixed to create your own perfect shade. Straight away I thought, 'Oh, I wouldn't wear the brown shade'. But Lisa demonstrated how to mix it with the pink shade to get a gorgeous warm pinky-nude colour that would suit everybody and that I totally would wear. The palest shade is ideal to wear over any single lip colour to create an ombre effect. So it will go on top of absolutely all of your lipsticks.
The texture of the glosses is silky smooth, not sticky with full coverage and high colour pay-off. They leave a stain on your lips so they are really long wearing and you will still have colour on your lips long after the creamy gloss has wiped away. The smooth non-sticky texture means your hair is safe in the wind and won't end up stuck to your lips with gunk in it.
