When I was a young 'un I deduced that the only way for my acne-sticken big old red face was to smother it with a chunky stick foundation. Listen, I'm laughing with you, laughing hard, and I am picturing my sweaty looking orange face but...but I have a confession to make. I still own a pan stick.
Not the same tube I used 15 years ago mind, I'm not that embarrassing. No, a while back I had a massive breakout all over my jawline and chin and I was in a right panic to fix it. I was frantically tearing around my local pharmacy at spotted the rack of pan sticks hidden on a bottom shelf while Max Factor's fancy new stuff shone supreme at eye level.
Well I have to say it did the job! Now I'm older and wiser and know that foundation is supposed to match your natural skin tone I chose a much lighter version than my teenage self would have and buffed it into my unsightly blemishes. It's great for a quick fix and covered those bad boys up something good but I wouldn't be whipping my Max Factor Pan Stik out in a full ladies restroom for all to see.
