There is something so, so satisfying about a great, high-end eye palette, don't you think? And the Lancome Hypnôse Palettes are exactly that - each slim black palette houses five complementary shades which are gorgeous and glamorous and, most importantly, completely and utterly wearable.
There are three types of palette in the collection - Doll Eyes offer soft and natural shades to open up the eyes, Drama Eyes combine mattes and shimmers for a bolder, smoky look, and the Star Eyes palettes are shimmery, for a bit of added glitz and glam.
There are 12 to choose from and while there are several that I wouldn't mind bringing home with me, this one, Kaki Chic, is exactly my cup of tea. I love these types of goldy green shades and find they work really well with my brown eyes (but also flatter most eye colours).

Like all the palettes, the shade choice is so well thought through and considered - the colours work together really, really well.
The quality is fab, too - the shadows are really easy to work with, they're soft and silky and they blend beautifully. You can use them wet or dry, and the applicators are definitely a cut above the norm - I usually toss the ones that come with a palette, but I've been using and liking these ones for makeup application on the go. (Yes, I sometimes apply makeup on the bus, don't hate me!)

These palettes are all about being easy to use - they come with a step by step guide and if that's not quite enough for you, Lancome has created some lovely little video tutorials for each type of palette. Loving the accent!
