Cruelty-free beauty influencer Kristen Leanne has teamed up with Urban Decay to bring us the coolest festival-ready makeup range you will ever see
Whether 'festival beauty' does it for you or not, the new palette and lipstick range is sure to excite any makeup lover, as it’s full of bright colours and absolute glam, perfect for the summer months.
First up, I tried out the Kaleidoscope Dream Eyeshadow palette and trust me, presentation alone will have you sold. The bright purple palette screams festival and summer holiday vibes with ‘stay gold’, ‘leo & brixton’ ‘corona’ and ‘lcw’ my favourites.
Corona, especially, is incredibly versatile and totally in season. It’s a metallic, soft bronze with a fabulous gold shimmer that you can dress up or dress down continuing to shine some sparkle wherever you may be.
The only downside is that the brush which comes with the palette won’t be enough if you’re planning on mixing shades. They’re quite high in pigmentation so you’ll need a couple of brushes so you don’t accidentally mix the wrong shades. With the high level of pigmentation, application is quite smooth and not at all cakey. When you slide your brush across the palette, it’s honestly seamless.

As for the lipsticks – sold. There’s nothing I love more than a good matte lippy and these are exactly that. Solid colours which glide on almost gloss-like but have a beautiful matte effect which lasts all night. In fact, when I tried the ‘Spellbound’ look I went out for dinner and never once had to re-apply.
The best thing about the Vice lipsticks is that they are wearable for everyday as well as complementing the bright colours of Kaleidoscope Dream that can sometimes be a tad over the top for the office.
I know some people aren’t fans of matte due to the fact it can often dry out the lips, however, I honestly didn’t find that I needed a full tub of balm the next day like I initially expected, so that’s always a plus in my book.
The Kristin Leanne range is full of bright and bubbly personality with all the latest must-have colours for the season. It’s definitely one I know I’ll be using again and again. I’m giving it the thumbs up here in Beaut HQ.
