We've been here before, haven't we?
Yup. I've got a bathroom floor that really hates my beauty stash and now it appears my suitcase feels the same way. Over in London last week for the Johnson & Johnson beauty journalism awards (very enjoyable altogether), when I got home I discovered that my old reliable Clarins Mono Couleur shadow in Desert Blonde had quite literally bitten the dust.
There's nothing particularly stand-out or remarkable about this product but for me it was a good neutral base with no pesky shimmer or sparkle which I applied to lids first. Mostly matte, it had a nice, slightly satin finish, and you couldn't see it on the lid but it made blending other colours easier. I also often used it solo for light makeup days, and it was just one of those really reliable workhorse products I used several times a week and which is now fit for nothing but the bin. Gah!
