Damien over at Mulley.net posted a ver interesting item about a new colour matching technology HP showcased at an event in Lisbon recently. You text a photo of yourself to a specific number, and the magical doohickey analyses your noggin and then texts you back with recommendations for makeup that will suit you.
Awesome or what? As Damien says, this has the potential to be a huge boon for online shopping sites like Strawberrynet, because it means if this thing works, it will be possible for us to buy foundation and colour products we're unsure about, sight-unseen. Most people use Strawberrynet to replace foundation they've already used and know suits them - so this could add a new dimension to the whole experience. Plus, it beats Homer's Makeup Gun hands down, doesn't it?

Now, don't expect this to happen next week, as I'd imagine it's very much in the experimental/developmental stages at the moment.
