Getting a pedicure at this time of year is a tricksy business. Even if the precipitation holds off and you manage to get in and out of the salon without being rained, hailed or snowed on, the about-zero temperatures and wintertime wind chill mean that exposing your feet in the requisite pedi-friendly, open-toe sandals is a seriously unappealing prospect.
