No17's Sheer Shine Eye Creme boasts that it has a "sheer hint of lustrous eye colour". Well, that's not quite true - the creamy texture of the shadow glides on really easily and blends brilliantly, but it delivers quite a matte appearance. I bought it in Creamcake (2nd left), which is a dull gold shade with very subtle brighter golden highlights.
So what was it like? Nice! It goes on like a dream, blends oh so easily and gives a subtle sparkle which is perfect to wear with lashings of black liner and red red lips. It doesn't crease or slide off, which creme shadows are wont to do, and it lasts all night. I've worn it out 3 times now and it's been pretty much intact at the end of the evening. If you want va va voom sparkle it's not for you, but for subtle looks it's great.
