I've been on the look out for new self tanning stuff and I think - I hope - I have found it in Garnier Summer Body gradual tan. Remember when gradual tans were all the rage? I remember in college I saw my friend at a party with a beautiful glow and being incredulous when she told me it was down to this moisturiser that tans you. What the what? I'm fairly sure it was the Dove one.
Oops sorry, back to Garnier. I've become a Sally-Hansen-all-over-my-body kind of gal as of late because I hate the smell of fake tan but I am definitely going to give the Garnier Summer Body Moisturising Lotion a try because on first whiff it has a luverly apricot / summer holiday sun cream scent. Fingers crossed! It comes in two versions, Light Sun-Kissed and Deep Sun-Kissed, and they both cost €6.90 (200 ml).
The Garnier summer essentials range is on shelves now (it would want to be - it's tanning time!) and as well as the Summer Body gradual tans they have the Ambre Solaire No Streaks Bronzers, one for the body and one for the face. In my experience, the no streaks promise is only really true when you've become an expert at tanning yourself but maybe this will at least help the reluctant tanner.
The bronzers also have a hint of the apricot which is very nice. You just spray and go - it's fast drying apparently and they say there's no need for rubbing in (that's why I'm keeping it in reserve for when my tanning mitt is in the wash) - and the colour develops in three hours.

Skin doesn't wait till winter to dry out, it can be uncomfortable in summer too and Garnier's Ultimate Beauty Oil Restoring Lotion Extra Dry hope to help with that. It features four oils: babassu, shea, avocado and almond to help soothe and soften your skin. 250ml €11.99.
