I'm going to share with you my all-time favourite Christmas presents to buy for people. These are always a winner - lush presents that you just can't go wrong with.
We all have that aunt who has everything, or the friend who is a shopaholic. You know the ones - they're always the hardest to buy for. This is my list of generic pressies you could buy for anyone, no matter their skin type, skin tone or preferences.
I'll give them to you in order of affordability starting with the most affordable up to the more luxurious, would-never-buy-for-myself kind of gift.
OK, so these are two things but, hey, they're so cheap you may as well give them as a pair. The lip pencil and plumping lip gloss are a gorgeous nude combination and what's more, the pencil will work with all nude lipsticks and glosses.
This powder suits all skin types; it sets foundation but leaves that sought-after 'dewy' finish on the skin. Unlike most powders, it doesn't completely mattify the foundation because it has an 'eggshell' finish. If you're not sure which colour to get, go for medium - it will suit most skin tones.

Image skincare is really popular at the moment with celebrities like Pippa O'Connor, Vogue Williams and Courtney Smith all using the range. This cleanser smells yum and is for anyone with dry, dehydrated, sensitive and rosacea prone skin.
I just think this is a gorgeous present. I use the brushes and find them great. There are seven essential brushes in the kit that would see you through any makeup job. The duo-fibre foundation brush leaves an airbrushed finish on the skin. They are a handy size, just the right length to fit in most makeup bags.
This is a gift for someone who likes luxe products and would appreciate Laura Mercier. It's the ultimate luxury gift. It smells divine. The bath and body creme together and you go around smelling like a spa all day.
