Frederic Fekkai's Protein Rx Reparative Conditioner is a product I should probably never have started using, because now I am in love with the stuff even though it's a li'l bit pricy for my pocket. Sigh! Specifically formulated to sort out dry, damaged hair, it contains soy and milk protein to rehydrate, revitalise and revive but fear not - it doesn't smell like a past-its-best carton of Avonmore. Actually, it smells absolutely flipping gorgeous, a teeny tiny bit sweet and kind of like marshmallows.
And it works really well on my (fairly straight) hair, as well as some intensive conditioners I've tried but there's none of that leave in for 15 minutes codology with the Protein Fx. Just whack it on, distribute evenly, and rinse - bada bing, bada boom, straw-like ends become lovely soft, shiny, silky tresses and hair definitely does seem less brittle after a few uses. Best of all as far as my inclined-to-be-lank locks are concerned, this isn't an especially heavy product so hair never feels weighed down.
Ah sure I can probably justify the price of it. Sure doesn't conditioner last for aaaaaaages...
