YSL Touche Eclat is one of our favourite foundations. But sometimes the budget just doesn't stretch that far and we have to turn to the pharmacy
Don't we all aim for gorgeous glowy skin that looks hydrated? What I want from my foundation is great coverage that leaves my skin looking perfect but that doesn't look like I'm caked in foundation. Easy, right? YSL Touche Eclat is like a silk veil of foundation on your skin. It gives your skin a dewy, fresh, luminous finish. And it doesn't look like you have put it on with a trowel.
The bad news is, YSL Touche Eclat comes with a hefty price tag of €42. However, we have great news for you because it has a cheaper little sister that gives almost the exact same effect. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation is only €13.99 and it is perfect for a dry or dehydrated skin that needs a luminous finish. It has a blend of vitamins C, E and B5 to hydrate, restore and give radiance to your skin.

I love to apply this foundation with my hands or with a long-haired stifle brush. The heat from your hands helps warm the foundation and work it into your skin. This makes it look like a second skin rather than like it is sitting on top of your skin. You could use your stifle brush just to finish it and make sure you have spread it evenly on your skin and that there are no finger marks.
Healthy Mix is a beautiful all-year-round foundation for dry skin but oily skin can become dehydrated in winter too. This is a lovely foundation for giving all skin types a radiant finish. However, if you have an oily skin type, you might want to use an oil control primer underneath the foundation so that it doesn't look greasy throughout the day.
