You've been chatting about fake tans in the comments, so I thought it was a perfect time to post this.
Info about two fab sounding tanning products landed in my inbox this week. This is a perfect time of year for a bit of a skin related perk - the weather is poxy, we're all like milk bottles and it's depressing looking at all these acres of wan looking skin (and yes I am talking about myself!) every time you take a shower. So a bit of a glow might be nice - now I'm not advocating the Oompa Loompa look or anything, just a bit of a light colour to make us look all healthy n' nice for Spring.
Tru Bronz, a tan from Australia made by Hamilton is enriched with walnut extract which promises to give you a natural Bondi Beach Babe look. Wayhey!
It's the sort of tan that's great for all skin types because it works with your skin colour to give you a colour that suits you. The colour develops in a few hours and to achieve a deeper tan, just apply daily until you get the shade you want. It costs a very reasonable €11.98 and you'll get it in pharmacies nationwide.

Quicktan by Egypt Wonder sounds pretty darn great too. It was recently tested by Irish mag 'Homes & Interiors' and got 9/10, beating off all the other competition. Get this gals - it beat fancy brands like Shiseido, Guinot, Clarins, Garnier and Estee Lauder! It won for the following reasons - you can see the tan going on, so you don't miss bits and end up looking like a rasher (my words, not theirs!!); it comes with a special applicator mitten so your hands and fingers stay clean; it lasts up to seven days and it doesn't smell awful - my big bugbear with self tans. Like Tru Bronz, you'll get Egypt Wonder Quicktan in chemists (I've seen it in Hickeys) and it costs €26.95.
