We love a charitable cause at beaut.ie and that's why we're only too pleased to highlight the important work done by the Women's Aid charity in the area of domestic violence.
For the fourth year, the Body Shop is supporting the charity's Stop Violence in the Home campaign by donating profits from sales of its ‘For You, For Me’ Shea Lip Care Stick Duo (about €10). There's two in the pack for a very good reason: one is for you and one is for your friend, because research shows that most women who are suffering abuse tend to open up to a pal about it.
Because the Body Shop sources its ingredients using their Community Trade programme, profits will also benefit a community in Ghana, who produce the shea butter used in the sticks. Good news all round so.
