Sometimes the answers to all our beauty needs are already sitting in our cupboards or fridges
You don't have to go out and spend a fortune on the "latest" or "greatest" beauty product; DIY is the way forward with each and every one of us growing self-aware in health and wellness. This makes us more and more aware of what ingredients we are not only ingesting but also putting on our skin.
The price you pay for a product doesn't necessarily mean that the quality is where it should be.
Also, January is going nowhere fast, and your bank balance is laughing at you. So worry not, you might still be able to work on your new 2017 skin care plan, but DIY style - and in the comfort of your own home.

Method
All you have to do is pour the water into the bowl and submerge your face in it. For best results, do it in short phases for between 15 - 20 minutes. Just don't, er, try to stay under there for a full 15 minutes because you know and I know, it's just not a good idea.
When you have finished, pat your skin dry with a clean towel and apply your favourite moisturiser.

Why it works
The carbonated water absorbs into your pores and the bubbles help to pull out all the dirt and sebum. This, in turn, leaves the pores clean and tightened and looking reduced in size.
