On the run up to Paddy's Day many facts and made up facts about Oirishness fly round the globe.
"Working on a story for St Patty's Day?" or "Top o' the morning to you" cheep American PR emails, still thinking we live either in the land of Darby O' Gill or mistakenly thinking our patron saint is called Patty. And definitely not realising that I'm actually Irish myself.

In the name of Jaysus. But sometimes you can learn new things and this infographic from Go Ireland tackles the subject of Guinness VS Beer: which is healthier. Read the whole infographic here (but I will sum up for you - it's beer).
However one horrible fact stood out for me.

The average moustache wearer soaks up one and a half PINTS of Guinness into their tache per year.
I know beards and taches might be having a bit of a comeback but I just don't like them - for hygienic as well as aesthetic reasons. The thought of all that soup and gravy being absorbed up into them UGH.
And now one and a half pints of Guinness. Now put that in your moustache and slurp it.
