It's amazing how different you feel about a brand once you've met the person behind it, and have chatted to them about their passions and plans for their company. H2O+ was a range I was certainly aware of - and even a fan of, as their glycolic Overnight Perfecting Peel is one of those wonder-products that lets us lazy gals look better with minimal effort. But I didn't know a massive amount about it, really. I knew vaguely there was something in it that was to do to with the power of the sea. And... water, um - yes, something like that. But ask me to chat about it in the way I'd tell you the seed and breed of MAC, and well, I couldn't.
That's all changed. Because last week I met Cindy Melk, the brains behind the brand.
The enviably tall and slim Ms. Melk doesn't look a day over 29, but actually, she's in her forties. Stylishly dressed and elgantly coiffed, this blonde is a lot of fun too.
