We were talking the other day about fresh summery scents - and here's one I absolutely love for night time.
Not too overpowering, but absolutely delicious, Crabtree and Evelyn have brought us India Hicks Island Night: an evening wear follow-up to Spider Lily. The fragrance “captures the essence of twilight in the islands – a mood of barefoot elegance in a topical garden lit only by the moon and stars”.
Rightio - but what does it actually smell of? Deep musky florals (orchid and night jasmine) are combined with woody scents and orange blossom to leave a scent on the skin that's warm and lingering.

Now I've never been to the Caribbean - but I was reading The Pirate's Daughter (Margaret Cezair-Thompson - fab book) when I got this scent and it just seemed to instantly capture the spirit of mystery, spice and warm nights in Jamaica
Guess what travel broshure I instantly ordered from Trailfinders?
