There is a stark truth about la Roche Posay that I must discuss without going any further.
And that's the packaging. It's so scientific and practical looking that I'm afraid I always passed it over in favour of prettier looking products. Oh shallow me. A foolish, foolish mistake. Don't judge a product solely by it's packaging people. Look at the wonders of StriVectin for example. Not only does it sound like something that would be used to inoculate cattle, it also looks like a tube of cold sore ointment. But it works like magic.

Having only recently been introduced to the wonders of this brand I feel I must shout about it from the rooftops. The packaging is very serious and honestly hasn't appealed to me in the past. Had the packaging been different I would have been buying it for years. Because the products are GORGEOUS and really really work. The matter of fact blue and white exterior does however reflect the premise of the brand though. This is serious skincare. A quick look at the website confirms that serious dermatological research, years upon years of experience, the purest ingredients and the highest commitment to quality are behind each and every La Roche Posay product. If your skin is dry, sensitive, easily irritated, or you've got rosacea... any of these concerns will respond well to La Roche Posay. Or if you just want to nourish and look after your skin then choose this brand.
I've been telling you about Lipikar, the fantastic shower cream that smells like roses and makes your skin silky soft - with zero effort. Now I've found something to go with the Lipikar and make it even better. It's Iso-Urea, the body lotion that makes your skin feel like velvet and actually gently exfoliates while its at it. After a winter in jeans and boots, snuggled in woollies and dried out by central heating your skin deserves a treat. Give it some Iso-Urea. Buy it in good chemists.
