Three new eye liners that even the shakiest hands can make work

Flicked, winged, graphic, thin, thick: there's no end to the ways we can wear eyeliner, but while some people have a natural knack for getting it right first time, others find it to be an eternal struggle.

Hopefully, I've got some good news for you today as budget friendly brand Wet n Wild have just launched a new collection of eyeliners which promise to be easy to use and, perhaps more importantly, cost less than a sandwich. So, if you do need to spend some time practising, at least you're getting your money's worth!

From top to bottom: ProLine Graphic Marker in black & blue €4.50 // Mega Liner €3.95 // Proline Felt Tip €4.50

I got my paws on the new season liners to test out recently including; the new Proline Graphic Marker Eyeliner, a fat marker pen designed to be able to create fine, thick and graphic looks (€4.50); the Proline Felt Tip, a slim felt tip pen for detail work and finer lines €4.50); and then the new Mega Liner Liquid liner, a classic, ink-well style liner with applicator and pot (€3.95).

Playing with the ProLine Felt Tip Pen

All deliver good pigment as well as a smooth application which is exactly what you want, so thumbs up all round for that. I'm a fan of felt tip liners so my eye went straight for the slim, ProLine felt tip. It fits neatly into your hand and is easy to use - the nib is quite flexible, rather than stiff, so that will either be a plus of minus for people, depending on what you're used to. The MegaLiner has a similar feel and shape but isn't a felt tip so for those who prefers a more classic liner, this would probably be the best one to experiment with.

Graphic Marker Eyeliner €4.50

Moving on to the ProLine Graphic Marker, which I have in both black and blue (used here). I have to admit, I was surprised at how smooth this was to apply, most markers I've tried in the past tended to bounce a bit, meaning you have to go over the line multiple times, running the risk of it getting more "dramatic" (by that I mean thicker!) each time.

This one, however, worked in one smooth sweep and set instantly. I have a feeling that it could dry out fairly quickly (a bug bear for most people) but for €4.50, I could live with that.
