Bobbi Brown's got another of her beauty tomes in-coming: Beauty Rules, €22, is aimed at teenagers upwards to twentysomethings and is her Teenage Beauty book ten years on, pretty much - it even features the girls showcased in 2000's offering who are now a decade older, as well as a foreword from Hilary Duff.
Like all her books, this is a lovely thing to look at but it's functional too, with chapters on skin, beauty from the inside out, party and makeover looks and loads more. Really, while it's aimed at a younger audience it doesn't talk down and the advice and tips can be called into play by anyone, regardless of age. So if you're a little older but baffled about the business of beauty, it's a good pick for a no-nonsense intro.
To celebrate all that, the brand is holding two mother and daughter event on Saturday 16th of October. Makeup artist Paul Herrington - who we've met before on Beaut.ie - will be manning the ship and giving expert advice on techniques and doing step by step guides for getting the prettiest face, eyes, lips and hair. He'll also be dishing tips on looks for school, parties and interviews and mums aren't left out either - you'll be on track for some fab advice as well.
