Eddie Rockets: you've been doing my arse no favours.
There was never anything low fat or remotely healthy on the menu til recently. And I'd leave, considerably lighter in monetary terms (not for nothing do we call you Empty Pockets) but considerably weightier in calorie load.
It was just all so delicious you see. Everything smothered in cheese and "special" sauce, blue cheese dip and chicken wings dripping in delicious lard. As soon as you went into the place you instantly put in about five pounds by just inhaling the air.
Lately you've introduced a range of salads - which you may think would be a nod to healthy eating - but they're not! Drenched in high calorie dressings and full of cheese they're so big and fattening you'd be better off having a burger.

We were at a stalemate. Starvin marvin I was last night and we decided to go to Eddie Rockets. "But there's nothing healthy" I wailed "Everything is fattening". So you can only imagine how delira I was to see on my table a new menu! Bikini Burger, Uni-Slider with Sweet Potato Fries, Asian Chilli Chicken Salad and Med Salad.
"Oh I'm going to have one of these!" I said happily
I think I ruined the effect of the Bikini Burger by sharing a bowl of fries - but sure it's a start. It was HIGHLY delicious. Wholemeal bun (lovely nutty bread), low calorie sauce and loads of salad: this was the option Eddie Rockets has been needing for the last uh ten years.
I don't know how the Unislim system works - but it had a Two Yum rating on the menu (I presume that's means sinful treats?) and I would very much recommend. Let's see more of this kind of thing in all our fast food restaurants!
P.S. Eddie Rockets, I know you'll read this so can I just add while I'm at it - I hate your tiny plates. I'm the kind of laydee who eats her food with a knife and fork and I can't be doing with cramming huge burgers into my mouth. Can we see some bigger plates - please. Apart from that you're perfect and your staff are brilliant!
