Is this the best spot treatment ever? Yep. And we've tried A LOT over the years.
Recently I've started using an overnight spot treatment and it is hands down the best one I've ever tried. EVER. And as someone who suffered with acne through their teens (and most of my twenties too), you can imagine I've tried a lot over the years. Naturally then, I had to share the news immediately.
The Paté Gris by Payot Paris is a cult product in the world of skin care and has been around since 1947. It comes in a pretty unassuming little pot but what lies inside is nothing short of magic. The formula is made with mineral rich Shale Extract to treat and soothe skin. Texturally, it feels like a thick clay, and only a tiny amount is needed to cover a blemish (seriously, the 15ml pot will last for a very, very long time).
Unlike the popular gel spot treatments, this doesn't irritate or cause dryness to the surrounding skin (a particular bugbear of mine). Instead, it just simply neutralises the spot so it's like it was never there. Apply it in the evening, go to bed and when you wake up it's gone. Honestly, you have to try it to believe it.
