Lip glosses can give some people flashbacks of the '90s, but they're actually bang on trend for SS18 and AW18 this year. Forget the brown lip pencil and concealer combo of the 90s and noughties, though. To keep things fresh and modern, this season it's all about luxe, high shine and ultra glossy finishes.
Having just returned from working at London, Milan and Paris Fashion Week I was able to get the inside scoop into some of next season's biggest trends. And gloss is definitely one of them. At the OFF WHITE show in Paris, we used a clear gloss on lips to create a glass-like effect. At Missoni and Rochas, gloss was used on cheekbones to create a luxurious highlight effect.
