Dear Reader, we want to draw your attention to a terrible plight.
The main tragedy here is that this terrible occurrence is just oh, so preventable and the fact that it still exists in Modern Ireland saddens us greatly. We refer to, of course, the current state of the barnet on Barry O'Hanlon's girlfriend Annette Daly in Fair City.
We have to do something to help. Give us a little - it'll help a lot in buying her a large bottle of an intensive conditioning treatment. The ravages currently being endured by her frizzy, over-processed, hideously coloured and badly styled hair bring tears to our eyes. We had to endure Fair City for 2 nights in order to actually double check that The Hair Horror wasn't a once off. Sadly, it was not, and that's when we knew we needed to take swift action. We can't have Mna na hEireann looking like Worzel Gummidge and that's that. Unfortunately we couldn't find a picture of her, so if you'd be so good, imagine a hennaed haystack and that will be close enough.
God be with you Annette, until we can scrape together enough for a tub of Kerestase intensive conditioner and FedEx it to the RTE Studios.
