On a meander around Boots in Liffey Valley last Thursday night, I spotted Barry M's take on eye-brightening light pink pencils. Their Shimmering Eye and Lip Crayon in pink (that's it second from the top) is a chunky creamy-nibbed pencil - ring any bells? Yep, it put me in mind immediately of Benefit's Eye Bright too. Now as its name implies, the Barry M version is shimmery but only slightly so, it's very subtle, and looks like it would make easy work of creating the illusion of perfectly sparkly peepers.

Oh, and at a price of €6.95 compared to €20.50 for the Benefit offering, it's also a bit of a bargain!
