Worth a splurge for the chance to own an affordable piece of Emilio Pucci's classic Vivara print alone, this new trio of scents are also happily rather nice smelling too.
From €49 for 50ml, exclusively at Brown Thomas from March, this is the Variazioni line and it's a new extension to the Vivara fragrance which was reinvented in 2007. Each one is a floral scent inspired by the island of Vivara, an Italian island near Capri, and they all represent a different facet of Mediterranean living - sun (Sole), sea (Acqua) and sand (Sabbia). No sex!? Bah!
Sole, is the yellow boyo up there, and it's a zingy scent. I smelled lemon, but apparently its top note is tomato leaf, and it also contains jasmine and vetiver. Buy if you're a fan of fresh, uplifting scents. Acqua, in blue, is a classic oceanic that's very fresh and invigorating, and the pink-packaged Sabbia is markedly different from the previous two in that it's softer and more powdery and musky.

My pick? It's got to be Sole - it's got me written all over it.
