It's that time of the week again where we delve into all your beauty dilemmas and concerns. And this week we resolve that old chestnut of a makeup blunder, why does red lippy end up all over my teeth?
Sarah asks:
"Hi Aisling, I just love wearing red lipstick but when I look at photos of the night out I always have lipstick on my teeth. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?
Thanks!"
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your question. A lot of people have this problem and the solution is an easy one. The trick is in the application; make sure to apply foundation to your lips first and set it with your translucent powder. Then line your lips and colour the whole lip in with your pencil.

Apply your lipstick on top of that and blot with a tissue. Then stick your forefinger into your mouth and slowly pull it out to remove any lipstick you might have applied inside your lips.
If you still find lipstick is ending up on our teeth apply a tiny layer of vaseline across your top row of teeth. This not only will protect your teeth from lipstick but it's also amazing if you are a red wine drinker.
Problem solved.
Do let me know how you get on.
