The aforementioned big Beaut.ie shop of cheapness has seen me wash my hair with things that haven't touched it in many a year and wash my skin with SLS-packed 'wonders' which made me reaffirm my decision to switch to posh shower gel. Yes, it is hideously expensive but my dry skin thanks me when a bottle of Cowshed something-or-other gets brought home, as opposed to the WHOREibble Radox thing I've been using in the interests of 'product testing'.
Needless to say, when Anatomicals Shower to the People turned up in the post, my skin practically leapt from my body to welcome it. OK, it does contain sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), a foaming agent that's a milder version of sodium lauryl sulphate. For me that's not ideal, because I try to avoid it where I can - plus I couldn't care less if my shower gel isn't bubbly, because all I want it to do is a) smell nice and b) clean me. For anyone who's never ever noticed a whit of dryness from showergels and who loves bubbles, then you're 100% in luck.
Plus, this smells fantastic. It's extremely fresh, with a real citrus zing, so it's great used first thing in the morning. It smells so nice I kinda want to mix it with gin and drink it down, but I've somehow restrained myself. Somehow.

Anatomicals products are generally fun in that quirkly Bliss/Soap and Glory way and they're well priced: while it's hard to find the brand here (I've seen it in Nue Blue Eriu and Sabotage on Dublin's Excheqeur Street), you can get this online from Anatomicals.net for a budget €3.04 - though the site adds on over €8.50 for postage so buying a few products would work out more cost-effective.
PS: don't be a nancy like me and not realise that you have to choose your country from a drop-down menu to the top of the screen when you're at the checkout, y'hear?
