Allison Williams' Golden Globes makeup was beautiful, but behind every good makeup look is a great skincare regime
Girls and Get Out actress was one of the first to grace the Golden Globes red carpet last night. I know this because I was tracking the red carpet arrivals online and she was there hours before other people. So, 'twas a good job she had makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan on the case her face to make sure she looked camera-ready all night.
We often find out what makeup products the stars sport on the night of an event, but as we get more into skincare than skin cover-up, it's interesting to know what they wear under the slap. Every great makeup look has an even better base. On Allison, Kelsey applied layer upon layer Kiehl's, and we found out every single product she used.
To begin, Kelsey prepped Allison’s skin with Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, followed by the brand's Ultra Facial Cream for nightlong hydration. Then she applied some of Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado to the sensitive skin under the eyes to moisturise and to ready the eyes for concealer. To control inevitable shine, Kelsey then used the Micro-Blur Skin Perfector. As a final touch before makeup, Kelsey used Facial Fuel No-Shine Moisturizing Lip Balm on Allison’s lips to moisturise and increase the longevity of her lipstick.
