Oh YAY! I thought as I opened the box, Molton Brown has sent me some yammy hand soaps, how simply and utterly divine (not to mention convenient). Out they came and I had an auld schniff. One smelled sort of like of Badedas (remember that?) and one was the signature Molton Brown Eucalyptus carryon that I'm altogether quite fond of.
So that was a nice start to the day and I put them to one side to have a goo at later.
Except when I did, it turned out they weren't from Molton Brown at all ... they were from ... wait for it ... ALDI.

Er yes, Aldi. They're actually Abbott & Broome Luxurious Liquid Handwash and Luxurious Liquid Bath and Shower Gel and they are - again, wait for it - €1.49 and €1.99 respectively. A bit cheaper and Brown and his Molton, I think you will agree. But will your guests notice? With copycat scents like Divine Gingerlily, Uplifting Eucalyptus and Orange and Jasmine, eh I think not.
Anyway - they're at Aldi stores now and are a total steal. The only word of caution I'd have is if you're steering clear of SLS - for under €2 you can't expect luxe formulas and you're not getting 'em - these are worshipping at the altar of sulphates. Most won't care a jot considering everything else they've got going for them, and these are going into my own bathroom toot sweet; himself wil be availing of the shower thingy, while the handwash will be adorning the sink once the current Roger and Gallet offering runs out.
And will I replace? For the price, I rather think I will.
