For any of your colour-phobes out there, bad news. Colour is here to stay. The good news is it can be subtle.
Colour in makeup can be fun. I love it, especially in summer. While natural makeup is always a winner, adding colour makes it interesting and can really brighten up your look. Just a touch of colourful liner can brighten your eyes and make them stand out. Or a gorgeous blush shade can lift your complexion. At the runway shows for 2018, it was made clear that colour is here to stay for summer.
Valentino
Valentino show us how to wear a coloured liner to accentuate your eyes. If you keep your skin fresh and your lips nude, you can let the liner do the talking. It won't look too crazy when everything else is kept simple.

At Dolce & Gabbana the models pulled off a crimson lip to perfection. Are you starting to see a trend - keeping everything else subtle makes colour easier to wear.
Max Mara
Max Mara used the lips to place their pop of colour again. A classic red will suit everybody. A red lip is a timeless classic and an easy way to rock the colour trend.
This look at the Valentino Show for Spring Summer 2018 is my favourite for incorporating colour. To make this look wearable you just need a fabulous foundation and a bright pink or peach blush. Keep the rest of the makeup neutral, maybe a brown smokey eye and a nude lip. Let the blush be the statement. If you are scared to go this pink with your blusher ask for help at your favourite makeup counter and they will show you how to apply it so it doesn't look stone mad.
