For those of you who haven't heard the good news yet, three of our favourite brands have opened their doors in Arnotts.
Until now, if you were a MAC, Charlotte Tilbury or NYX lover you wouldn't have been able to shop all three brands under one roof. But as Bob Dylan says, "The times, they are a-changing."
The Selfridges group owned by the Weston family have recently bought over Arnotts. It's the end of an era for us here in Dublin, as it is now part of the ever-growing portfolio of Weston owned stores along with Brown Thomas in Ireland, Selfridges in the UK, Holt Renfrew in Canada and de Bijenkorf in the Netherlands.
With the change in ownership comes the opening to many new and exciting brands. So, if you are a beauty lover (like me), you will be delighted to hear all about the new brands.

MAC
One of my personal favourites, the department store, will open its doors to a large section at the front of the shop. MAC have moved from its comfortable position opposite the department store and will sit pretty on view for all to see in the front window.

Charlotte Tilbury
This brand has grown from strength to strength and continues to do so. Charlotte has it nailed when it comes to providing quality makeup and the ability to show and teach women how to create certain looks at home. With this brand, you are buying a look, not individual products. Very clever altogether.

If you are as fond of Instagram as I am, you will have seen an array of bloggers constantly comparing NYX products to MAC products. They have a huge variety of shades, colours and as large a product line as MAC. But the USP is the price point. The brand manages to provide quality and quantity at a highly affordable price.
