You can't look crookedy these days without bumping into a new mineral foundation launch, and 17, Boots' tweeny brand, have jumped on the bandwagon too with their Pure Finish Mineral Foundation.
I may as well delcare an interest here - I hate mineral foundations (with the exception of Jane Iredale's Liquid Minerals). Like, as in, loathe, detest and totally think they're the emperor's new makeup. I've tried high end and low end, and been underwhelmed all round. I don't get the hype, and I think they're messy, non-portable, hard to use and basically, don't deliver the goods. Try concealing dark shadows round the eyes with a Kabuki brush - it ain't gonna happen.
So, while I haven't tried this one, I'm willing to bet it's not going to impress me much. I think the only skintype that mineral makeup is good for is one that's prone to excess sebum. On my dry skin, this stuff is cakey, provides weird looking coverage, is extremely drying and leads to super-flakes by 10am. And as cheaper products tend to include talc as a bulking ingredient, that really doesn't help.

Has anyone tried this product though? I'd love to hear some feedback - and I'd also be delira to be proven wrong too!
