Pets rock. They bring down stress levels and who can resist the sight of a warm ball of fur curled up by the fire?

Yeah, we're total girls here at Beaut.ie. Nothing like the sight of a cute little puppywuppy or any little ball of purring cuddly fur to just melt our hearts. We follow Sockington on Twitter, laugh our asses off at Simon's Cat and spend way to much time on sites like cuteoverload, icanhazcheeseburger or Daily Puppy to get our cuteness fix.

We had a gorgeous golden Labrador, Kringle, when we were growing up - and lots of cats. Only one in every ten thousand ginger cats is female due to a genetic quirk - and we had one. Truffle. We had Carpet - a stray who wandered into the garden one cold winter's day and never left. He looked like a British Blue Shorthair and this has led to my love of the breed and the reason why I now have three of them. And there was Humphrey and Tatley and Scooter and Mac and Murphy too.
