What Lorna Wants: The Luxury Christmas Wish List
My mum asked me for my 'Christmas list' in August. I nearly spat out my cappuccino. August? "Dear God woman, it's still summer!" I replied, aghast.
Mother is the most organised person I know, and on a bright, and surprisingly sunny August day, I hadn't even thought about what I was having for dinner, let alone what I wanted for Christmas. But, it got me thinking; if I could have anything I want, what would I put on the ultimate Christmas wishlist. And so, the day dream began...
- A Chanel bag
Yeah, I should get in line I know. If I had a Chanel bag, I could happily retire knowing I met my personal goals. I don't care if it's small or large, quilted or matte leather etcetera etcetera, I just want one, ok?
- A Burberry monogrammed wrap

Olivia, Cara and SJP have one, so naturally I want one of these too. I'd wear my LCW wrap over a pair of dark denim wash skinny jeans, Givenchy boots (oh yeah, I'll have those too), a polo neck and an over the shoulder Alexander Wang bag. I mean, it's not asking for much like?
- Tom Ford Black Orchid
Now this isn't exactly very expensive, but when fragrances go over €100 per bottle, my bank account shuts down in protest. The beautiful scent of this famous perfume reminds me when I was commuting to Miami (yes, I did commute to a city which is a 19 hour door to door journey) and how the sunshine used to fill my room every morning. Sigh.

- Anything Moschino
I'm head over heels in love with Jeremy Scott's collection with Moschino. It's kitsch, quirky, jaw dropping and insanely clever. I certainly don't speak Italian, and I wish I spoke Moschino.
- Givenchy Boots
So along with the Burberry wrap, I want to wear Givenchy Boots. Kim K has a large selection of these, and I although I'm not a massive fan of her style, I do applaud her taste in footwear. Givenchy is edgy, urban and if it comes in an ankle boot, I want it! These ones available at Brown Thomas are only €1200, so, you know, pocket change.
Ok, so Mum, here is the list. Nothing much on it this year.
