The most on-trend party handbag of the season costs €10 and we're buying 5
Why would you ever spend money on a designer handbag when it only lasts for one season?
I'm all for investment pieces and I will own my own Chanel one day, but when it comes to trends I am firmly a high street gal. My shredded jeans are never going to be Levis; my velvet was never going to be bought in Brown Thomas. My velvet is going to come in bag form in fact, and I'm buying it in Penneys.
I spied this little guy in the O'Connell street store at the weekend and will be snapping it up once I have a spare tenner. Because, yeah, that's all it costs.

Will you look at the little fella! It's adorable! And it's so totally In right now. That star detail is what takes it from plain to party and the velvet material makes it look more expensive than it is. And I lied; you'll be able to use it for at least the next two seasons.
It also comes in a maroon shade that makes it a little more festive, and it will match your winter wardrobe. Get one in black, get it in maroon, get a few more and give them to your friends.
