How to steal Meghan Markle's cosy but chic winter style
Is there a clause in the royal engagement policy that the bride-to-be must have style? Because Meghan Markle has it. Has It.
The newest member of the Royal Family (almost) is one hell of a snappy dresser. She's never been a show all the skin type dresser (bet the Queen is relieved), but she has a certain amount of sex appeal. Sexy, but not that sort of sexy. She's an American Sloane. Her style is polished yet laid back. Effortless, in a carefully considered way.
So, what does Meghan wear when it's chilly out there but not too baltic, and how do we copy it?
BLACK, obviously. Black flared pants, like the ones I used to wear with my school uniform 15 years ago instead of my skirt. And got away with it! Wonder if I still have them...? A little grey jacket with matching scarf adds a semblance of colour.
Topshop flared jeans €55 / PrettyLittleThing black knit €40.50 / iClothing grey jacket €29.99 / M&S grey cashmere scarf €60

Getting a bit chillier, but it's ok when you have a royal hand to hold.
COS coat €250
When it's properly cold, she dresses for it. How down to earth! Big huge parka and duck boots over skinnies. That's a look we'd copy today.
Myleene Klass for Littlewoods Ireland parka €140 / Sorel boots €109.95
We can't wait to see how her style evolves once she's an official member of The Family.
