River Island is selling a bag for €147 and it's probably worth it
The €147 bag that people might mistake for your pet
Whenever anyone is in need of a party outfit, I send them to River Island. Every year they deliver on sparkly cocktail dresses, dancing stilettos and elevated outerwear.
River Island also hosts an impressive collection of accessories and bags. You probably pass at least five people every day who will have an RI bag at the crook of their arm. Seriously, there are more RI bags being carted around than Michael Kors'. For good reason, too. The selection is well priced and looks more expensive than they really are.
One I have my eye on at the moment is this mini bucket bag (€35). It's elegant but handy and would probably hold loads. It also hints at the athleisure trend without being an actual rucksack.
I also like this leather patchwork print 'pouchette' bag that will go with anything you wear. Or it will clash with everything, but that's good too. It's bigger than it looks in the pic: 24cm in height, 33cm across to give its exact measurements.

But we're not here to discuss those bags; it's the one that's practically €200 we need to talk about.
Behold the Mongolian faux wool stripe leather strap bag €147.
But why is it so expensive? Maybe because it too is bigger than it looks. In fact, it's massive. You could deliver all the presents to all the children of the world with that big boy.
Woah. Well, that's as good a reason as any; we'll take it!
