Lorna's Christmas Style Sneak Peek!
Yesterday it was all about dressing on Christmas Day, and sharing our top tips for keeping it stylish! So, I thought why not share what I'm wearing over Christmas! I won't lie, I've treated myself to a few bits and pieces, but all of which will work with the staple Autumn Winter trends I've had in the wardrobe since September. My trick will be mixing and matching my pieces; I'm heading home to the parents, so I can't pack the whole wardrobe. It's about picking my favourite and most versatile pieces to keep me clothed from the 23rd for four days! Thankfully in the car, there is no luggage limit! So what will I be packing?
Tops are always the first thing I pack, and since the huge H&M has now opened on College Green, I invested in some new casual and more dressy tops to wear with skinny jeans and leather trousers for Christmas Eve mass and the trip to the pub afterwards to catch up with my school friends. I've gone for a mix of shirts, knits and light weight tops that I can wear under my good black winter coat. And just one pair of ankle boots will come home for dressy wear; these will work with my trousers and skirts alike.
I've also headed to Penneys to pick up some basic skirts to wear with all of the above. I'm a huge fan of layering a knit with a mini skirt, and really thick black opaque tights (I highly recommend Penneys 120 denier tights for Winter!).

I need one very dressy outfit for a night out with my girls, so I'm sticking with the old reliable little black dress worn under a three quarter length leather jacket. My ankle boots will work really well with this night time look too!
As you can see, I love black at this time of year! In terms of accessories, it's about packing just a few key items like long chain necklaces, bracelets and rings that I can mix and match. I've been collecting some lovely pieces from Accessorize this season, which also make for lovely gifts by the way!
I don't think I need to pack that much; all it takes is a little planning! And now, all I can say, is a very Happy Christmas to you and yours and I hope you've enjoyed all our Christmas-y fashion in the run up to this very lovely time of year!
But fear not, we'll be back on soon with our must read sales guide!
