Look of the Week: Gemma Chan at the Bad Education Movie Premiere

The line between sexy and sweet is not fine at all. In fact, it's very broad. Some people try to blur the line and confuse us all by doing things like wearing tiny shorts and a revealing top but putting their hair in pigtails and wearing cute sneakers but they're not fooling any of us.

Sexiness does not mean short and revealing,in fact, subtly works much better. That's why Gemma Chan's ensemble works so well.

She is not 'flaunting' anything, she's simply wearing a buttoned to the neck, long sleeved shirt / tea dress, with prim little shoes and a teeny-tiny granny bag. But you can bet she would be up for a bit of mischief later on; sure she's going out with comedian Jack Whitehall. That top button is going to open, she'll be quaffing champagne and double-acting with Jack at the after-party for sure.

Gemma looks totally comfortable in this ensemble; like it's the type of thing she'd wear in everyday life. The best kind of sexiness is when you're at ease with the clothes you're in.

Her darling rose print number is by Dolce and Gabbana, but we'll be keeping a lookout for copies on the high-street.
