H&M's Spring Collection turns traditional style on its head
PROMOTION
Spring fashion has a reputation for being all about pastels and pretty flower prints; and while that's nice and all, it doesn't exactly set the stylista's world on fire. Well, stylistas, rejoice! H&M's spring collection is all the good things about spring style, but with added edge.
Inspiration is eclectic: from Leandra Medine's unconventional fashion sense to classic spring style essentials, with prints influenced by Mexico and Guatemala.
Light and feminine but with a distinct element of cool, blue and white denim feature with bright yellow and aqua accent colours with embroidery, lace and tassel details.
We want to makeover our entire wardrobe with this collection (and at these prices, we can. Hurrah!). There are a few pieces that we'll be adding immediately:
- Black lace dress € 69.99

See what we mean about this collection? Black is not your typical spring colour, but the cut and pattern of this dress is anything but wintery. We'd wear this to work, to after work drinks, to coffee with friends - it's the new season's most versatile piece.
- Embroidered cotton dress €39.99
Buy this and wear it now, and keep for your summer holidays. How perfect would this be for throwing over your bikini and dashing off to dinner? The interesting pattern detail on the soft base colour brings it to the next, cooler level.
- Off-the-shoulder dress€ 19.99
What. A. Bargain! It's another buy now, wear for months gem that has the added bonus of being totally on trend with the off the shoulder design.
