What woman doesn't love her boots?  I'm asking this question in all seriousness - do you know anyone who doesn't feel even slightly cheered by the onset of boots weather?  Yes I know the season is on the turn, as Mammy would say and that's a pisser, but at least it means that we can snuggle up in cosy, beautiful boots.
