Last year, the majority of female guests on the Golden Globes 2018 red carpet wore black.

It could have been the most boring red carpet ever. Instead, it proved just how versatile black really is. This time last year, the #TimesUp campaign was in full swing and this was one of the most memorable points of the movement. Every empowered celebs showed their allegiance with the campaign that will go down in history as a highlight of 2018.

Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington wore Prabal Gurung and slayed in those shoes. Also, if you look closely, you can see that she put her pop of colour on her face. Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner's Giambattista Valli gown was made for the affair.

Saoirse Ronan

Saoirse wore Atelier Versace and looked every inch the Versace woman. Colour came courtesy of her Cartier earrings.

Christina was one of a few attendees in pants gown looks, a trend set by Emma Watson at the 2016 Met Gala.

Dakota Johnson

Dakota Johnson graced the carpet in back-baring Gucci.

Zoe Kravitz
