5 gorgeous gúnas to wear to a winter wedding (and the odd party...)
Going to a winter wedding this year? We (and the high street) have got you covered
Wedding season is not behind us; ask anyone who has planned their nuptials for the October Bank Holiday weekend, November or anytime around Christmas. When you're of a certain age, wedding season never ends. But we are so happy for the happy couple. So very happy. Winter weddings are actually easier to buy for than summer affairs. Let me tell you why.
- Whatever you buy in winter you can wear for a Christmas or New Year party
- Winter clothes don't date as fast as summer styles so you can wear it to a wedding next year, too
- You can wear long sleeves and tights so no messing about with fake tan (hurray!)
- They're basically investment pieces, so you can afford to spend that little bit more
We're entering party season proper, and the high street is full of dresses for all the occasions: office party, cocktail party, family gathering - it's all covered.
These five dresses can cover every event and a winter wedding. Just pray you don't have too many or you will have to do some very strategic accessorising.

We'd finish the look with our fancy winter coat and a faux fur stole. Shoes are next on the agenda; we'll keep you posted.
