Peter Mark is raising funds for The Simon Community this long weekend. And you can help!
In Peter Mark salons nationwide from Friday 27th to Monday 30th October, the annual Petermarkathon will be raising vital funds for The Simon Community
Every Peter Mark salon in the country will be taking part in the Petermarkathon fundraiser and this year the team aims to raise much-needed funds for The Simon Community. Funds raised from the "Make it Home" campaign will help local Simon Communities deliver vital services to the homeless population.
The 71 Peter Mark salons are teaming up with all eight Simon Communities and The Simon Community Northern Ireland for fun activities like pyjama parties, bake sales, fancy dress and - of course - funky hairstyles.
Peter Mark CEO Peter O’Rourke said, “We are delighted to be able to take part in the “Make it Home” initiative to help raise much-needed funds for The Simon Communities in Ireland. We know our customers will get behind this year’s Petermarkthon in their usual inimitable spirit and style”.

It's a timely cause. We're all aware that Ireland is in the midst of a housing and homelessness crisis. The Simon Community's goal is not to simply manage homelessness but to end it for once and for all. The overall aim of the “Make it Home” campaign is to keep and ensure homes for some of the most vulnerable people in society.
Brian Ingarfield of The Simon Communities said, “We are thankful to Peter Mark for supporting the Simon Communities nationwide with this wonderful initiative. The management, staff and customers create a unique, special event each year which brings joy while raising much-needed funds for those in need.”
We love the initiative, and our support is fully behind Peter Mark and The Simon Community this bank holiday weekend.
