Two Planes Touched Wings; Who Are We To Deny Them A Shot At True Love?
It was early on this crisp, autumn morning when love arrived at Dublin airport. Unexpected, uninvited and undeniably beautiful, two planes made a last-minute dash for each other before heading to opposite sides of the world, potentially never meeting again. As you're probably aware, another name for autumn is fall and oh lordy did these two fall for each other.
Two Ryanair planes came into contact with each other, gently clipping their wing tips in what has to be the most extravagant and romantic gesture of 2014 so far. To our confused human eyes, it would appear that the pilots made a navigational mistake and maneuvered the planes a little too close together. But to the more optimistic and love-supporting eyes, it was fate. The pair couldn't bare another long distance relationship without giving each other a proper goodbye.
An aeroplane's wing tip touching another aeroplane's wing tip might seem like a safety hazard to most, but to the more open-minded, it's love. How do fish make love? Why are the Japanese so intelligent? How does a microwave fully cook a baked potato in under five minutes? These are questions that we may never receive the answers to. But thankfully today, we have been shown how two planes open and share their bodies with each other, and it is beautiful.
Witnesses to the so called 'incident' have been reported as saying they were mildly inconvenienced by the ordeal, with the incurred delays and whatnot, but they need to remember that love often comes at the most unexpected moments. It's also important to mention that no passengers were injured in 'the incident'. This is surprising because as we all know, with true love often comes pain, but perhaps this is the one exception to all rules.

Yes, some delays have been incurred as a result of the crash, but surely the privilege of witnessing such a grand romantic gesture will be enough to compensate the inconvenienced passengers. The last-minute proclamation of love occurred in the taxi-way area (like in most Hollywood films), so the runway itself is completely unaffected. It's important to take this information as a sure sign that the planes were being incredibly considerate in causing minimal inconvenience, ahead of their deep lust for each other.
This wonderful story has an even more wonderful ending. Ryanair will have to ground the two lovebirds until they are repaired, which is most likely going to involve storing them in close proximity until the damages have been assessed and rectified. This means another few nights of passion for the cute couple. Step aside Clooney and Alamuddin, there's a new adorable power couple in town!
