Today's Kardashian News - Wow, Kylie Gets a Tattoo!
I'm probably the only woman in Ireland who hasn't seen a full episode of the Kardashians. Please, correct me if I'm wrong and restore my faith in...I don't know what. Anyway, I had a lovely doing nothing day yesterday at Home Home in the West and because we have all the channels (a novelty for me) I decided to stop on E! and take a gander at what the fuss is all about.
I'm perplexed. They're awful! It was the episode when Kim was just about to give birth to North and she was more interested in assembling her 'glam squad' so that her baby would think she looked beautiful when she saw her for the first time (what?!) than booking a bed at the hospital. Luckily, Khloe and Kourtney came to the rescue. So Kim got a private hospital bed and looked good doing it. Hurrah!
The other theme of the episode was how bold the paparazzi were getting. Kylie, then aged sixteen, fresh faced and with natural lips, was practising driving with Bruce, who gave the paps a piece of his mind and they all drove away. Go Bruce!
The episode made me sad for a number of reasons: how utterly narcissistic the three Kardashian women are (especially Kim), how much Kylie has morphed into the Kardashian ideal in the past couple of years and how Bruce was obviously battling inner turmoil while the series was being filmed.

Kylie is the Jardashian in the spotlight this week. Even though it's a traditionally quiet time of year, this family cannot let their fans down. They must do something for a headline. The big news in Kardashiland is that Kylie has got a tattoo. Form your own opinion on the meaning.
Don't get me wrong, I'm as fascinated by this family as the next person, and I know we all have our different reasons for keeping up with them. I know all about what they're doing because I follow pop culture and they are front, right and centre in the middle at the moment so I can't possibly avoid them. I am curious to know the reasons why other people tune in to the show, so please, do share.
