Stephen Fry & Other Famous Comedians Back A 'Yes' Vote
Funnyman Jason Byrne and comedian Aisling Bea, star of Trollied, have harnessed their star power to get some of the world's biggest comedians to to lend their support to the 'Yes' campaign ahead of this week's referendum.
From the likes of Stephen Fry, to the new host of The Daily Show Trevor Noah, as well as Kevin Bridges and Jack Dee, plenty of the biggest names in comedy are hoping that Ireland votes in favour of marriage equality on Friday. Some give a humorous twist on their message, while others play it straight as they urge you to back the campaign to give equal rights to all the citizens here in Ireland.
Fry even tries his hand at a bit of a plea as Gaeilge, and while he admits his skills are a bit rusty since his time on Ros na Rún, he's still made a pretty good fist of it we have to say.
